How to Make Your Homemade Skincare

Over the last century, the cosmetic industry has revolutionised the way we approach skin care and with millions of products now on the market, it is difficult to find the right one. While some claim to shave twenty years off your face, others promise you eternal beauty. Yes, there is such a thing as too much choice! However, once upon a time, women made their skincare products from ingredients lying around the house and over time, this has been passed on from generations to generations.  So, we invite you to take a step back and dive back into a time where making your skincare product is only a small feat.

A simple regime to great skin: cleanse, scrub, apply a mask and moisturise. We bring you four products that will make your busy life much simpler. The beauty of this? Well, these simple ingredients are lying in your cupboards, waiting to be used by you – so this is a win-win situation! No need to break the bank to look your best and inspire success. Remember, if you look good, you feel good!

Step 1: A cool cleanser

Add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (Did you know Cleopatra was rumoured to have used this in her beauty regime?) to 4 tablespoons of water and apply to your face using a cotton pad. This can also be used as a makeup remover! Greetings sparkling and spotless skin!

 Step 2: A scrumptious scrub

Add 1 tablespoon of olive or coconut oil to 2 tablespoons of brown sugar (white sugar works too) or salt. Chop up some pineapple (acne-prone skin) or strawberries/Kiwis (Skin that needs brightening) finely and combine all. Store in a tight container in the fridge and use daily! Hello, soft and smooth skin!

Step 2: A magnificent mask

Add 4 tablespoons of rolled oats to your blender until they have turned to powder. Pour 1 tablespoon of honey into a bowl before adding the powdered oat to it. Add an egg yolk to the mixture and combine the lot to create a luxurious paste. Apply this to your face and leave for 15 minutes. You can also add a dash of lemon juice to the mixture if you suffer from greasy skin. Welcome fresh and revived skin!

 Step 3: A marvellous moisturiser

Add 8 tablespoons of coconut oil to 1 tablespoon of Vitamin E oil and 6 drops of lavender or tea tree oil. Mix the lot and use daily to promote a bright complexion. Voila! Bonjour to healthy and happy skin!

You are now ready to face the world with confidence. Remember to always use sun creams when out and about to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun – this will keep the wrinkles at bay! Who said that great skin must cost you the earth? Enjoy simplicity to bring out your goddess.

Skincare is a huge part of our daily lives, thanks to the research in cosmetics that allowed us to hide the ravages of time and modernisation. But have you ever thought how did the greatest queens and kings of history take care of their skins? How was the iconic Cleopatra doing her skin routine? Maybe it involved mud or rich clay from the Nile. And it had pretty good results. That’s because, on Cleopatra Slot, she charms players with her beauty. Check out the game at Lucky VIP.
